Default toon name

Hey guys.

When I created my little elf I choose the name Gwahir. However, it's too close to the name of Gwaihir, the Windlord. So, I want to change it. So, here goes my question: is Dordithriel a elven male name?

thanks for the attention

Depends, however -iel means it's a female not a male.

-iel usually means: "Daughter", "Daughter of" or "Little Girl"

So..yes, would say thats innapropriate for an Elf Male.

Atm, I'm in a hurry :P So cant find the meaning of Dordith; but will have a look later.

In the meantime, I suggest you look around Merin Essi ar Quenteli! - Home Page, they have a lot of Elvish Names there.

Hmm, the Elves of Edhellond are Woodelves, or at least Sindar, no?
